is a diesel injection system developed in 1994, combining the injection pump and the injector
nozzle in a single component. The Unit Pump System (UPS) was introduced in 1995, the feature of the UPS
is that each engine cylinder has a unit pump of its own. These systems are very popular on Audi-VW®,
Iveco®, Mercedes®, Scania® and Volvo®.
